admin - Thank you all so so much. The timeline for recovery for the 2nd cleft repair is 6 very long weeks. He only has a week recovery for the first two surgeries, so Thanksgiving, Christmas and his birthday will all be in good spirits! We are so thankful for that!

Carol - The eyes truly are the window to the soul, aren't they? I'm sure you have many blog stalkers that will be lifting your family up in prayer. Please post updates after his surgeries when you are able. Hopefully he will be able to enjoy the Christmas holidays before his big surgery. Did they give you a timeline on how long his recovery would take after the one in January? I am so sorry you are having to deal with red tape regarding his education issues. Would a lawyer help at all (in conjuction with his therapists?). I know God will give you the strength and wisdom you need. Blessings!!!

To all the mothers out there with cleft babies, my heart and prayers go out to you all. Without Ashlee my wife, I don't know where I would be. She is my heart and soul, and I love her with all my heart. Whitlee is our beautiful little butterfly and Ashlee is the best mother a child could ever want or need. Carol - Angela, Could you possibly do a post, even without photos, and let us know how all your cleft lip babies are doing post surgery? I wish that we had such a photographer in our area when Dylan still had his little widesmile. I will be thinking of Whitlee as she undergoes her surgery tomorrow. It seems like just yesterday that Dylan had his lip repaired and it has already been four years!
