I was intrigued by listening to them discuss weather they would be holding a son or daughter in a few short hours! Since they had decided early on in their pregnancy to not find out ahead of time if they were having a boy or girl, there was much to wonder. They always had a feeling, though, that they were having a boy and they were right!! Their beautiful baby boy made his debut into this world at 9:03 am on May 20, 2010 via ceseran section. Often times, my clients are concerned when they hire me how things will unfold in the case of a c-section and I always reassure them that their birth story images will be just as amazing and beautiful as a vaginal birth would be. I think these images prove that very well. What a beautiful and amazing birth story Kirsty has! Congrats mom and dad, he sure is a beautiful baby and I am so excited for his newborn portrait session next week!

Melissa did such an amazing job and birthed like a pro! What was even more amazing was seeing the look on the three big sisters as they looked at their baby sister for the first time. I was thinking about how impatient I am and thought to myself that I would never be able to wait that long to know! haha! I think it’s awesome though and that will be a surprise worth waiting for! I’m super excited because I will be photographing the birth of their sweet little one at the end of May, so I will get to know the sex the same time they do!
